2022, Phuket — I’m holding my first personally printed and framed photography.
By that time, I had already been in the profession for seven years: magazines, covers, billboards. I had shot a cover story with a circulation of 60,000 copies, and my work had even adorned the facade of a two-story store. But it was this particular shot that revealed a new dimension of creativity in me.
I spent hours wandering along deserted beaches at low tide, studying the horizon lines, the textures of the sand, the play of light and shadow. It was almost a meditative process. I wasn’t just looking for a beautiful shot but for a different perspective, one that not everyone sees. I wanted to show the world through my eyes — turning familiar landscapes into art photography.
Holding that physical photography print for interior decor in my hands, I realized that my work could have a life of its own in different cities and countries, filling homes with atmosphere, awakening memories, and touching people’s souls. That was the beginning of something new in my artistic journey.
